Easy, cheesy, and delicious are a few of the words used to describe Tonya Cheatham’s recipe for crockpot macaroni and cheese. Tonya is the director of admissions at Ridgewood Manor and Addison Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center. She likes to serve this recipe for holiday meals.

Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni

4 tablespoons butter

2 ½ cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

3 eggs

½ cup sour cream

1 can (10 oz.) cheddar cheese soup

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon dry mustard

1 cup milk

Directions

Boil macaroni for 6 minutes, drain.

In a saucepan, melt butter and sharp cheddar cheese, until smooth.

In crockpot, combine cheese/butter mix, eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, pepper, mustard, and milk.

Stir in cooked macaroni.

Cook in crockpot on low for 2 ½ hours.

Stir occasionally.
