Nellie Tully from Emerald Shores Health and Rehabilitation in Callaway, FL shares her recipe for cheese bread. Her family can’t get enough of it, and she hopes that your family will love it too!

 

Ingredients:

1 loaf of French bread, sliced thin

1 lb. shredded four-cheese mix

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 stick of butter

1 Tbsp. grated fresh garlic

1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix cheese, mayonnaise, butter, garlic and green onions in a medium bowl.

Spread the mix onto sliced bread.

Arrange slices on baking pan.

Bake for 10 – 12 minutes.

For special holidays, you can add red pimento and diced pepperoni to spice it up.
