Lakeside Oaks Care Center in Dunedin, FL recently won the AHCA National Bronze Award for Quality. We talked to Chasmin Snyder, the executive director of the care center to learn more about how the care center earned this impressive distinction.

During the award application process, the care center carefully studied the demographics of their patients and the surrounding community in order to lay out their plans for success. “Our staff is very adaptable in the way they provide care,” said Snyder. Snyder credited her team with serving a diverse population very effectively. “Everyone plays a vital role in making the operation run,” she added.

Winning the award has increased the staff’s pride in their work. Snyder said that the award helps to build confidence among the staff and highlights the good they do each day. Residents also appreciate the validation of quality care they are receiving.

Snyder is excited for Lakeside Oaks to take the next step and work toward the AHCA National Silver Award for Quality. She feels confident that with the excellent staff in the care center, Lakeside Oaks will succeed in earning the Silver Award, and eventually earn the ultimate achievement, the Gold Award.
