This simple filet mignon preparation is perfect if you are entertaining a small group for the holidays. The filet goes great with oven fries and creamed spinach.
Ingredients: (for 2 servings)
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 small shallot
tsp. dried rosemary
1/4 tsp. dry red wine
2 tbsp. butter (no substitutions)
1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley leaves
2 beef tenderloin (filet mignon) steaks
