Consulate Health Care is proud to announce three of our Executive Directors as recipients of the ACHCA 2018 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award. The awards were presented on April 24, 2018 to Mary Ann Domingo, Executive Director of Consulate Health Care of Bayonet Point in Hudson, FL, Daniel Frenden, Executive Director of Consulate Health Care of New Port Richey in New Port Richey, FL, and Tim McEntire, Executive Director of Oak Grove Healthcare Center in Rutherford, NC. This is the third year in a row that Consulate Health Care of New Port Richey has received the award.

The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) presents the award, named in memory of visionary  ACHCA member Eli Pick, to  administrators whose teams have achieved dimensions of organizational quality that few others have been able to reach. The Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award is a distinction of significance. This year, only 11% of facilities nationwide qualified. Three hundred and fifty‐one administrators in 45 states were awarded the facility leadership award nationally.

This award recognizes administrators of record who provided leadership throughout the award year. Eligibility for this award is based on three years of skilled nursing facility (SNF) survey data, including the Health, Fire (Life Safety), and Complaint Surveys, as well as top quartile performance on designated Quality Measures. The criteria also included an 85% or greater facility occupancy and a three-year avoidance of a Special Focus Facility status.
