During the month of May, the different Consulate Health Care centers celebrated their nurses during National Nurses Week and their entire teams for National Skilled Nursing Care Week. As a way to show appreciation to their staff for their commitment to their residents, the care centers put together creative celebrations to say “thank you.”
Vista Manor celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week following the national theme “Together through the Seasons.” Each department at the center was in charge of a different season and provided food for the residents and staff together with fun, themed games.
At Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, the team had a delicious celebration during the week. A local restaurant, Chefs of Napoli, donated tasty pizzas to the center where all were able to enjoy the delicious treat showing their appreciation for the staff’s hard work this past year.
Staff at Baya Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center displayed an amazing sign outside the care center to show all nurses how much everyone appreciates them as they drove in for their shifts. During National Nurses Week, everyone enjoyed the fun and showered their nursing team with goodie bags, movie theater baskets, milkshakes, Sonny’s, and topped it off with a delicious Olive Garden dinner on the last day.
Fletcher Health and Rehabilitation had fun events planned for each day of National Nurses Week. Starting with “Nacho Average Nurse” featuring delicious nachos on Monday, thena salad bar and a fun donut day Tuesday and Wednesday. For the last two days of the week, they received candy treats and a visit from the All Good Food Truck.
The team at Island Health and Rehabilitation celebrated National Nurses Week with an island-themed pajama party and southern breakfast. It was a creative way to say thank you to their nursing team and have some fun at work.
The different departments at Consulate Health Care of Melbourne celebrated National Nurses Week by recognizing their nurses with many awards, including Most Achieved, Most Compliant Documentation, Rookie of the Year, Nurse of the Year, and more. The celebratory events for the week were exciting every day.
Consulate Health Care was thrilled to see the different care centers celebrating their teams. We are honored to have dedicated and compassionate individuals in our Consulate family.
