Orlando, FL (November 15, 2017) – As of November 2017, Rosewood Health and Rehabilitation Center received a deficiency-free survey for the second time in a row. Located in Orlando, FL, Rosewood Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing center, dedicated to providing short-term rehabilitative services to their community.
As a part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), healthcare centers are measured and rated on a 5-star scale, helping families and caregivers compare providers more easily.
Amongst the CMS rating system, state surveyors also perform annual inspections to evaluate services and renew the care center’s state licensure. Surveyors enter the care center unannounced to interview and observe staff, check records and determine compliance with regulations. These regulations include quality of care, residents’ rights, and HIPAA governance.
For the second consecutive year, Rosewood Health & Rehab proudly received a deficiency-free survey. This achievement is a tremendous representation of the commitment to quality of care and service that Rosewood caregivers provide to their residents.
“The hard work and dedication of the entire team has allowed us to achieve this. There has been an extreme desire to set this goal amongst everyone, and I’m so proud that we’ve been able to cultivate that shift,” stated Tim Leonard, executive director.
Receiving a deficiency-free survey is a reflection of the care center’s operations passing each of the many applicable regulations, and is a tribute to the standards of care that all of their employees follow every day. For Consulate Health Care, a national leading provider of senior healthcare services, achieving a deficiency-free survey shows a commitment to accountability and working towards safe clinical outcomes all while providing the best possible care to those they serve on a daily basis.
Consulate’s employees strive every day to make a positive difference in the lives of those entrusted to their care. This recognition proves their dedication to caring for patients and residents like family, while living out their mission of “Providing Service with Our Hearts and Hands”.
