FADONA ANNOUNCES SUSAN JENSVOLD AS NEW PRESIDENT
MAITLAND, FL (March 30, 2017) – Consulate Health Care is proud to announce that the Florida Association Directors of Nursing Administration (FADONA) has announced Susan Jensvold as their new President.
Susie recently joined the Consulate Health Care family in 2017 as a Divisional Educational Specialist. She has over 40 years of nursing experience and has been in the long-term care industry since 1991. Susie has been a member of FADONA for 20 years, and she is proud to have been elected as their new President.
During her two-year term, Susie mentioned that she “wants to increase membership so that more nurses can continue educating themselves about the ever-changing long-term care industry”. She also hopes to spread awareness about FADONA’s symposiums, annual convention, and scholarship opportunities so that nurses today are able to receive benefits that will allow them to continue growing in their career. “I’m also excited to share this opportunity across our Consulate nurses and hope to see more of them recognized at the convention for scholarships,” Susie commented.
FADONA comprises the largest and most active chapter of NADONA – the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration, and is the largest educational organization dedicated exclusively to nursing and administration professionals in the long-term care and assisted living industry. FADONA offers professional development and networking, board certification and credentialing, and clinical expertise related to the care of patients/residents in the post-acute care continuum.
FADONA’s vision is to be a resource for the advancement of nursing executives and leaders to position them as key members of the health care leadership team addressing the constant evolving landscape and need for innovation in the post-acute care continuum.
