Throughout the past year, the staff at Consulate Health Care of St. Petersburg faced many challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic, but with a cohesive teamwork approach, they were able to handle them with compassion and empathy. The staff at the center have shown their willingness to continuously jump in and help each other in order to provide the best services to the residents and their families. Day in and day out, the team has shown their commitment to their jobs and dedication to providing services with their hearts and hands.
“We believe that for our center to be a great place to live, it has to be a great place to work,” said Ramona Gonzales, Executive Director for Consulate Health Care of St. Petersburg. Since she assumed the administrative position at the care center, Ramona committed herself to focus not only on providing the best services for the residents but also on making job satisfaction a major priority.
During National Skilled Nursing Care Week, where we honor the collective commitment of all our centers and their staff in providing compassionate care to their residents during this unprecedented time, the team decided it was time to celebrate. “This was the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the staff and tell them we truly appreciate all they have done for our residents,” she explained. Ramona planned and used this week to have an exciting and safe celebration filled with engaging activities so that everyone could enjoy it.
Together, the management team and executive director planned a whole week filled with themed celebrations, fun lunches, and even raffle prizes for the employee. Following the National Skilled Nursing Care Week 2021 theme, “Together through the Seasons,” each day celebrated a different decade and timely fashion. They also had many delicious meals and snacks for the staff for all to enjoy safely.
During National Skilled Nursing Care Week, the team at Consulate Health Care wanted to say thank you to all the staff at our different care centers. The dedication they have shown this past year was extraordinary. Without their compassion, honesty, respect, passion, and integrity, we wouldn’t be able to provide the quality care we do. We are immensely grateful for the dedication and empathy they have shown. Thank you!
