Everyone knows Orlando is well known for its theme parks, but were you aware of the great museums there too? The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art features the largest collection of Tiffany glass in the world and is located in Winter Park. Art lovers enjoy the pottery, glass windows, lamps and even jewelry featured here. Want to see celeb look-alikes? Visit Madame Tussauds and pose with wax figures of your favorite life-action and animated stars. Or, checkout the Orlando Science Center for a chance to do the weather forecast and try hands-on activities.

Watch a sports game

Are you more interested in viewing high-action sports than riding roller coasters? Check out the Orlando Magic basketball season from October to June at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando. The venue also hosts the Invictus Games. Or, head to the Citrus Bowl to catch soccer and football games.

Head to a concert

Orlando is one of the entertainment capitals of the U.S. Here you can find any kind of music every night of the week. Local cafes and bars feature everything from blues and R&B to rock and soul. Huge acts that play top 40 hits tour through town and often play at the Amway Center, The Abbey, The Social and The Plaza Live. Check out a schedule or just take a walk on a downtown street and follow the melody to a show worth catching.

Orlando’s beautiful weather makes it a place for incredible plant growth. This city has a plethora of gorgeous parks like the Harry P. Leu Gardens on Lake Ivanhoe. This 50-acre area includes roses, camellias, a grove full of citrus and even a butterfly garden.

Active seniors who enjoy spending time at the driving range or on the putting green gravitate towards the over 170 golf courses in Orlando. With premium sunshine, the grass on each hole is a gorgeous green and offers golfers plenty of opportunities to see what they’re made of. Grab a golf cart or a caddy and try out one of the many different difficulty levels across courses throughout the city.

There are so many amazing restaurants in Orlando you’ll likely have a hard time choosing where to go first! You can find menus with influences from all over the world here. With Cuba’s close proximity you may want to try a sugary Cuban coffee with a Cubano sandwich. Or, try a food tour to check out local wineries, breweries, restaurants and cafes. Just pick a part of the world you’d like to “visit” and you’ll quickly be inundated with several, delicious options.
