Putting Residents at the Forefront of Her Work

Kristy Hemby is the Regional Director of Clinical Services for the Mid-Atlantic. With over 21 years of experience in the healthcare field, she started at Consulate Health Care in 2013, bringing her years of experience and the passion for providing compassionate care. Kristy is one of the many phenomenal individuals we are honored to have in our Consulate family.

Her coworkers recognize Kristy for always going above and beyond to help those around her. Although she exemplifies all our core values, her compassion is what makes her stand out. Kristy’s passion and dedication to the care centers and residents she serves do not go unnoticed. “She has a deep passion for the nursing profession and always puts the resident at the forefront of her work,” said Cody Swartz, Regional Vice President of Operations.

Each day, Kristy shows exceptional commitment to her work through her honesty. She leads her teams with integrity and passion, helping them with whatever is needed. Of the many things Kristy enjoys working at Consulate Health Care, she says that working together with her coworkers and sharing the same goal of providing quality care is her favorite part.

Kristy interacts with many residents and staff members through her role as RDCS. “Each one of my colleagues and residents has impacted me at least one time,” she explained. She shared that she especially loves visiting a special gentleman in one of the care centers in Richmond. “He remembers me whenever I go visit, his face lights up. It makes me very happy every time,” Kristy said.

Known for her commitment to those around her, Kristy overcomes personal challenges and comes to work with a bright smile each day. Her coworkers admire her strength and ability to share her big heart full of love and compassion. “She is truly someone that is valued by all who know her,” Cody Swartz, RVPO, explained.
