Consulate Health Care is pleased to announce that two of its care centers have recently received deficiency-free surveys. Osprey Point Nursing Center in Bushnell, FL and Garden Court Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bossier City, LA earned deficiency-free surveys in November 2016. This distinction is a tremendous representation of the quality of care and service that their staff provides to their residents. Receiving a deficiency-free survey is also a reflection of the care centers’ operations passing each of the many applicable regulations, and is a tribute to the standards of care that all of their employees follow every day.
As a part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), state surveyors perform annual inspections to evaluate services and renew the care center’s state licensure. Surveyors enter the care center unannounced to interview and observe staff, check records and determine compliance with regulations. These regulations include quality of care, residents’ rights, and HIPAA governance.
Osprey Point Nursing Center and Garden Court Health and Rehabilitation Center both offer services ranging from comprehensive short-term rehabilitation and transitional care to memory care. The culture in both of these care centers creates a community where Consulate staff cares for patients and residents like family, not because it’s their job, but because it’s their calling. We are Ambassadors of Care.
Osprey Point Nursing Center, located at 1104 N. Main Street in Bushnell, FL is a 60-bed skilled nursing center.
