An article published by the Florida Health Care Association in their January 2015 Quality Quarterly, highlights a clinical education partnership between Consulate Health Care and the University of South Florida. The program links students to current medical providers for hands-on experience and training in long term care. The students in the program worked on taking histories and physicals, developing differential diagnoses and treatment plans a minimum of twice a week. Consulate Health Care benefited from the well–trained ARNP professionals provided by the university. Click here to read more about this successful educational partnership.
