CONSULATE HEALTH CARE OF MELBOURNE EARNS DEFICIENCY-FREE SURVEY

Melbourne, Florida (January 26, 2016) – As quality measures for nursing homes have developed, rating systems have helped families and caregivers compare post-acute providers more easily.

Amongst these rating systems, state surveyors also perform annual inspections to evaluate services and renew the care center’s state licensure. Surveyors enter the care center unannounced to interview and observe staff, check records and determine compliance with regulations. These regulations include quality of care, residents’ rights, and HIPAA governance.

Consulate Health Care of Melbourne, in Melbourne, FL recently underwent this state inspection and received a deficiency free survey. As a 167-bed skilled nursing center, this result is a tremendous representation of the quality of care and service that Melbourne staff provides to their residents.

Receiving a deficiency-free survey is a reflection of the care center’s operations passing each of the many applicable regulations. Led by a dedicated executive director, Matthew Logue, caregivers are committed to improving the patient experience, which is seen by the level of care they provide, treating residents like family.

“We are proud of the contribution of each and every member of our staff in making this achievement possible. Now that the bar has been raised, we remain committed to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and positive clinical outcomes. This health care center is truly a remarkable place,” commented Logue.

Consulate Health Care of Melbourne’s caregivers strive every day to make a positive difference in the lives of those entrusted to their care.  Employees continuously improve their services by carrying out Consulate Health Care’s mission of “Providing Service with Our Hearts and Hands” every day.
